Summary

In "Reckoning at Robber's Roost" Terry Andress dons a mask to hold up the stage as Old Dad, a veteran outlaw, points out his mistakes. Gambler Shanghai Nivens mistakenly believes he has inherited the First National Bank of Scratchgravel in "The Gambler's Code." Old Dad returns in "The Craft of Ka-yip," with a gang of thieves who mean to hold up a riverboat. And in the title story, Billy Buzzard sets out to form a prospecting trio, but is met with a deadly surprise
